Lizzo

LizzoLizzo was a part of a prog rock band where she sang, and occasionally played the flute. Her family relocated to Denver which meant she was on her own in her quest to launch her career in Houston. Lizzo lived in her car and sometimes slept on the carpets in her studio, and washed in the gym. Lizzo lost her father when she was twenty-one years old. It was a tragic loss for the two of them as they were extremely close. Lizzo left the band in 2010following her father's passing. Lizzo had only a few days in Denver relocated to Minneapolis in 2011 at the request of a close friend. Soon she was a part of the city's music scene. She performed with girl group Chalice and GRRRL PRTY. Her first album Lizzobangers came out in 2013 on an independent label.
